Abstract

The aim of this work is to state precisely the phenomenon of flow of an analogical material of Schnebeeli in two dimensional model. This study shows that the differences between the particles trajectories in the different zones are imputable principally to the nature of the wall. During experiments, we have distinguished, in general, two flow types, mass flow and chimney flow. Moreover, at the begining of emptying all the material go down as a whole regularly; this is generally observed with prototype or real silos.
