East Bridge: Status report of design and construction
Abstract
The Easl Bridge of the Great Bell link between Zealand and Funcn in Denmark is well under construction. At the Second Symposium on Strait Crossings in 1990, the development of the tender design solutions was reported. Since then, all site investigations as well as wind tunnel tests have been completed and have formed the basis for the detailed design. Concurrently with the construction works, the detailed design has been carried out for the final drawings to be issued to the contractors medio 1993. The paper describes the key results of the design works and the construction works.
