Environmental harmony of strait bridges
Abstract
Bridges spanned over straits introduce new qualities into the existing local environment. Connected areas often represent different standards of spiritual and material background. Paper discusses the philosophy of corresponding bridge design, especially characteristic for Japan and within the boundaries of the last two decades.
