Construction of the East Bridge across the Great Belt in Denmark
Abstract
The paper describes the current progress of the works. It briefly introduces the project, refers to the tender phase and the contract negotiation phase. Method studies, plant and equipment concepts are presented. Concrete quality requirements, prograrnming of the works as well as the sequence of the different operations on- and offshore are indicated. Some project management tools as well as the experiences with the QA system are described.
