Abstract

The contents of the paper deals with the cleaning of street tunnel exhaust air. Tests have been made in the Plabutschtunnel (Austria) using a catalytic converter for the reduction of the gaseous pollutants CO, NO, NO2 and SO2. The results show a high reduction efficiencyand therefore a reduction of pollutants for several hours. Afterwards the catalytic converter has to be regenerated.
