Abstract

This study aims to examine the environmental influences on the sea arising from a large project, for instance, a long submerged floating tunnel. First of all, a simulation model of the sea current is developed upon a three dimensional axis of coordinates. Secondly the results obtained by the simulation model of the sea current are introduced into the environmental impact model as input data. Namely, the influences on the marine ecological behavior are estimated by using the simulation model. Here, we propose a simple ecological model influenced by human behavior in the bay area. The actual simulation is examined using the example of the Volcanic Bay of Hokkaido in northern Japan.
