Creation of the Northern Japan exchange axis by floating tunnels
Abstract
Many problems must be solved before civil engineering projects are planned and implemented. In case of floating tunnels, in which much weight is placed on technological problems, it is also essential to collect funds and overcome the problems of plans and regulations already instituted as well as to win the support and understanding of the public. Even though construction of floating tunnels is judged technologically feasible, this will not lead to their realization if our society does not need them.
