Cold-formed thin-walled constructions: Recent developments
Abstract
The results of research activity carried out at the Engineering Faculty of Naples in the last years in the range of the structural behaviour of cold-formed thin-walled steel members are briefly presented in this paper. The investigations have analysed both experimental and theoretical aspects. They are mainly devoted to evaluate the response of the most common typologies of cold-formed cross-sections under different loading condition in order to assess more appropriate calculation methods and design provisions.
