A role for innovation in structural engineering programmes?
Abstract
There is always a need to review the achievements of our Profession, and future prospects. The occasion of this Conference, being a tribute to our distinguished colleague Professor Nicholas Snowden Trahair, gives some added incentive. After a brief look at some highlights from the past, as the new century approaches the challenges ahead are discussed. Some of the issues and possible developments are reviewed.
