Design for stability... of the industry
Abstract
Design is not only fundamental to stable structures it is also the key to a stable industry. Inefficient, unsuitable and impractical designs lead not only to unstable buildings but also to an unstable industry. Thus any design worth its salt will consider fabrication and erection as much as it will structural behaviour and analysis and will also recognise the key activities of connections and handling.
