Abstract

Heat transfer under thermal convection is crucial in the thermal regime of the atmosphere and oceans of the Earth, atmosphere of other planets as well as the convective stellar zones. There are grounds to believe that convection flows are of prime importance in the heat transfer regime of the upper and lower mantle of the Earth.
