Methods for obtaining higher order frequency response functions from non-linear structures
Abstract
This paper gives an overview of several practical methods of determining Higher Order Frequency Response Functions. It is shown that these offer a useful approach to detecting and explaining energy transfer characteristics of non-linear structures. Techniques employing different approaches are described and the merits/demerits are discussed.
