Water balance in a heavy snow region
Abstract
The total water balance is discussed in a heavy snow basin. A method for snowfall estimation based on precipitation, the Thornthwaite method of considering evapotranspiration and a simple ground water balance model are used to evaluate each component of the hydrological cycle.
