Abstract

In order to produce reliable prediction of the frost heave, the frost penetration and the location of ice lenses with the program PC-heave its necessarily to have good information about soil strata and parameters influencing the response to freezing. Especially two parameters, permeability and unfrozen water content, are important for the result.
