The technology and application of post-grouting for slurry bored piles

The paper presents the post-grouting technology for slurry bored piles recently developed by the Institute, including its principle; soil strengthening mechanism; improvement of pile bearing capacity, which varies with soil properties and grouting parameters; and economic benefits. Post-grouting can not only solidify bottom slime and shaft mudcake, but also strengthen the soil around pile shafts and bottoms within certain areas, so that the bearing capacity of piles can be increased greatly. Cet article présente la technologie de post-injection pour des pieux moulés par le forage á la boue, developpée ces dernierés années par notre Institui, á savoir: le principe,le principe, le mécanisme de consolidation du sol, l’augmentation de capacité portante du pieu, l’amélioration des propriétés du sol, et les variétés de paramétres ainsi que les béné-fices économiques. La post-injection peut consolider non seulement la vase et la croûte á l’entour du pieu, mais aussi le sol d’une certaine sphére d’influence du pieu, par conséquent, la portance du pieu peut être considèrablement augmentèe.
