Deformations and strength of flexible foundations

The new mathematical model of flexible reinforced concrete foundations is presented. Attention is given to the importance of taking into account normal forces, arising in the middle surface of foundations due to its bending deformations. The solution to determine bearing capacity of the system: flexible foundation — soil base is given. Cet article présente le nouvel modèle des fondements flexibles en béton armé. Une attention particulière est accordée à l’importance des comptes des forces normales qui surgissent au dedans de la surface moyenne dûes aux deformations. On expose ici la solution pour déterminer la charge limitée du systeme: fondement flexible — sol de base.
