Parametric studies on the dynamic characteristics of unreinforced masonry
Abstract
In order to investigate the seismic behaviour of unreinforced masonry, an analytical model has been developed and is implemented in a nonlinear finite element program. The model is capable of performing either the quasi static or the real time history analysis of masonry structures. In this paper, the influence of some important parameters is studied by using this iterative finite element computer program.
