Deposition densities of tailings in Chilean deposits
Abstract
A compilation of the average deposition density values of copper tailings placed hydraulically in large Chilean deposits has been carned out, and its purpose has been to analize the expected range of values and the possible causes that explain them. There also is a description of the method used to determine the density of deposited tailings that is applied in Chile.
