Polarimetrie signatures of agricultural crops
Abstract
Polarimetrie SAR-data of agricultural fields have been acquired by the Danish polarimetrie SAR (EMISAR) during a number of missions at the Danish agricultural test site Foulum during 1995. EMISAR has operated in a fully polarimetrie mode at C-band since the fall of 1993 and at L-band since the beginning of 1995. Results from an analysis of possible scattering mechanisms of the unique multitemporal, polarimetrie SAR data set are shown for the spring crop, spring barley, and for the winter crop, winter barley.
