Abstract
The Fifth All-Russia Conference on Physics and Chemistry of Elementary Chemical Processes was held between Sept.29-Oct.3 (year 1997) at the Institute of Chemical Physics in Chernogolovka. The conferences dedicated to the memory of Prof. V.V. Voevodskii are organized every five years in turn by Moscow and Novosibirsk and are devoted to the current basic problems of the physics and chemistry of elementary chemical processes.
