Implementation of information systems within Czech corporations in the transformation period of the Czech economy

The paper deals with the main problems of implementation of information systems within Czech corporations in the transformation period of the Czech economy. Positive and negative sides of this period with regard to the implementation of EIS-MIS information system are specified, described, and evaluated in this article. The specific role and position of the middle and top management is analyzed as well. The authors put a set of special conditions for a successful implementation of the computer aided information system and new trends in the information technology. At the end of the paper the authors put some concrete examples and feedback also from mining, industrial, and other types of corporations.
