Abstract

The paper studies development status and characteristics of distribution of diverting water and sediment from the Yellow River basin. The effects on water and sediment of the lower reaches and evolution of erosion and deposition of the channel by the diversion are analyzed with a great amount of data of hydrology and sediment.
