The generating method of river-regime-fitted or river-mainstream-fitted orthogonal grid and its applications
Abstract
Based on Hermite ter-polynomial interpolation, a generating method of river-regime-fitted or river-mainstream-fitted orthogonal quadrangular grid is presented in this paper. Applying this gridgenerating method, adapting simplified depth-average flow governing equations under boundary layer coordinates system and using SIMPLER algorithm, 2-D flow verified and applied calculations for 2 typical river reaches of the Changzhou power plant and the Qinglongzhou embankment displacement are carried out. Properties of the grid-generating method are discussed finally.
