Cable bolting for soft rock support
Abstract
Cable bolting application for soft rock support is introduced in this paper. Factors influencing the generation of bond strength of grouted cable bolts installed in soft rocks and approaches to the achievement of a high cable bolting system capability in soft rock circumstances are highlighted. The feasibility of using cable bolting as an alternate soft rock support under certain conditions is discussed.
