The study of FXZ static column and its industrial application
Abstract
Laboratory flotation tests have been done for five coals. The results show that the construct of bubble generator and the aeration rate are important for the performance of column. One m diameter by 6 m high FXZ-1 static column has been used in four coal preparation plants for more than one year. Industrial application is very successful. The FXZ column has the advantage of low power consumption, high separate efficiency and high throughput. It has past the identification and is suggested to be spread out in coal preparation plants of China.
