This paper analyses the relationship between the performance of organizations within the CSC and the interests of stakeholders, the trade-offs between these interests, as well as how these interests are affected by the industry practice. Pooled cross-section and time series data are employed and a simultaneous equation regression model is developed for the analysis. The results indicate strong quantitative relationships between organizational performance and the interests of stakeholders in the Chinese State Coal (CSC) sector.
