Surface mining technology optimization based on artificial neural network and fuzzy logic decision
Abstract
A system of combining the artificial neural network (ANN) and fuzzy logic has been developed for selection of surface mining technology system in this paper. The ANN system is applied to determine the weight value of the various factors that will be used to evaluate the feasible mining technology. The fuzzy logic is applied to optimize the feasible mining technology alternatives that have been obtained from the expert knowledge base. This system has been applied to a Chinese surface coal mine.
