The pattern of overlying strata movement in longwall face
Abstract
This paper discusses the process and characteristic of overlying strata movement in longwall face. Based on field measurement, physical modeling and theoretical analysis, basic pattern of overlying strata movement and influence of different stratum combination on strata movement are put forwarded, bed separation type of overlying strata and its control are further analyzed. The study in this paper will be useful to estimate and control surface subsidence.
