Coalbed methane drainage technology in Henan Province
Abstract
Development of coal bed methane drainage technology in Henan Province started in early 70’s Considering geological conditions, three methods for drainage of coalbed methane in Henan Province are proposed in this paper. The first is roof stimulation that is suitable for structural coal. The second is acid treatment that is suitable for Anthracite in which cleats are filled with calcite. And the third is conventional development that is suitable for primary and fissure structural coal.
