Research on roadway layout for ensuring safety in longwall top-coal caving system
Abstract
For the sustainable development in coal industry, this paper presents a new roadway layout system of stagger arrangement in thick seam according to the theory and practice of mining system design to enhance the safety in operation of longwall top-coal caving face. This system solves the problems of the spontaneous combustion, the methane accumulation, and the difficulty of the extraction and maintenance of roadway. It raises the recovery ratio of coal mining and promotes the research on the sustainable development of longwall top-coal caving technology.
