Stability of the surrounding rock for openings in fractured rock
Abstract
This paper probes into a method of reliability analysis for support design of large span roadways in fractured stratum with high stress field. First, failure features of fractured rock masses in high original stress field are studied. Then a model of reliability analysis based on shear sliding wedge theory is proposed. Finally Rosenblueth method is used to solve the reliability of sliding wedges and some important conclusions are obtained.
