Role of geophysical methods in flood management in Yugoslavia
Abstract
During intensive rainfall or snowfall periods, particularly in spring and autumn, a significant water level increase in rivers, streams and lakes frequently occurs, thus causing flooding and spreading of flood water over urban and agricultural areas.
