Analysis and management of hydrological extremes in integrated systems
Abstract
In many areas both floods and droughts cause high economical losses, by turn risk evaluation and real time forecasting of these extreme events need specially distributed information, that is often available in different structures and formats. Then analysis and management of data must be carried out in a single framework to increase the efficiency of the risk mitigation policy.
