Characteristic features of an urban river through environmental resources accounting
Abstract
Environmental resources accounting matrix is formed in two river basins in Japan. Environmental resources accounting system is a useful measure to consider the environment comprehensively. Many applications have been studied in the field of environmental economics. Most of them take administrative district as their target area but a river basin is chosen as a target area in this study because a river basin is a physical element which governs water budget.
