Diffusivity coefficients from field data of thermal discharge in Garigliano river
Abstract
Although the involved ecological hazards, natural bodies are still used to withdraw cooling water and return it after heating; in fact, this is still the most common way to cope with the problem of removal of the waste heat rejected by electric power generation plants. Therefore, it is of great interest the study of large heated water discharges into rivers, lakes or coastal regions.
