Numerical simulation of the Egyptian Mediterranean shelf circulation for better coastal management
Abstract
The three-dimensional coastal ocean model (POM) was used for the purpose of exploring and studying the water circulation and hydrographic structure of the southeastern part of the Mediterranean Sea in front of the Egyptian coast. The resulted simulation may assist the actually running programs for the management of resources exploitation such as oil and gas underwater.
