Installation of new innovative geotextile filtration system in coastal and river bank protection
Abstract
Water storage structures such as reservoirs and dams, river banks and sea coasts are subjected to severe hydrodynamic stresses, and exposed embankments need to be stabilised by appropriate protection systems. These comprise two distinct parts, which fulfil different functions.
