Behavior of anaerobic water growing in the estuary of Tone River, Japan
Abstract
A series of field measurements were conducted to investigate the behavior of anaerobic water growing in a reach of Tone River downstream from an estuary barrage. A two-dimensional numerical model in vertical-longitudinal plane was constructed to simulate the phenomenon, and its performance was examined by the field data.
