A General Model of Convective Diffusion of Gas Stream in A Mine Working
Abstract
The present study examines a general case of a Convection Diffusion Model for a mine working of fixed length and presence of a pollution source. The mathematical model is described by a parabolic differential equation with initial and boundary non-homogeneous conditions and is solved analytically. Direct and inverse problems are posed for some individual cases illustrated in the study. The inverse problems, whose solution approach uses the Theory of Incorrect Problems, are of interest in this study. The computer realization of this mathematical model is based on Tikhonov’s Regularization Method.
