Numerical Assessment of the Impact of Thermal Insulation on Environmental Conditions in Mine Workings
Abstract
Various calculations of environmental conditions were carried out using a prognostic method that takes into account thermal-insulation of ribs of a mine working. Calculations were performed for different insulating materials and for different values of parameters: duration of ventilation, airflow and temperature of ambient rock-mass. The results obtained are presented in graphs and tables.
