Application of Mine Vetilation Network Optimization in A Mine
Abstract
A method proposed by the authors for ventilation system optimization is applied to a coal mine and the usefulness of this method is illustrated. The economic effect of excavating an additional airway to reduce the resistance of the ventilation network are examined from the viewpoint of total cost. Furthermore, the relationships between the air quantity and the lifetime of additional airway and the related costs are discussed.
