Experimental results on low porosity silicate rocks
Abstract
In this chapter, experimental results obtained at a confining pressure up to 3 GPa are shown, mainly for four kinds of low porosity silicate rocks with a porosity less than 1%. They are Man-nari granite, Murotomisaki gabbro, Horoman dunite and Akaishi eclogite, whose characteristics are summarized in Table 3.1 .
