Abstract

The solution of differential equation of a lake water balance permitted to elaborate mathematical model, where dynamics of mutually related the Caspian Sea level, water surface area, evaporation and outflow to the Kara-Bogaz-Gol Gulf are the responses to inflow oscillation. The time lag of the sea characteristics to inflow and relation of their amplitudes are computed for different values of inflow and for large number of time periods. The observation data of water inflow and the sea level are approximated by periodical functions. The time between extreme values of the curves, which approximate the level and inflow, and relation of their amplitudes are compared, respectively, with the time delay of level to inflow and relation of amplitudes of their oscillation, computed by the model.
