Water management in the State of Bahrain: Two decades of experience and future expectations
Abstract
This paper outlines the statistical history during the past two decades (1980s and 1990s) of water management in Bahrain, being represented by the Ministry of Electricity and Water, and all the challenges encountered through the domains of Water Production, Water Transmission Network and Water Distribution Control. Inspired by all the problems experienced and the challenges confronted, the paper also highlights the future plans, strategies and expectations for the Management of Water in Bahrain.
