Information technologies for water resources management

Review of created information technology tools for water quality monitoring and management in river basin is presented. The integrated approach is oriented to natural resources conservation and sustainabllity. The forecasting experience for Siberian reservoirs ecosystems states by the model “Biogen” is considered. The decision support system (DSS) “Hydro-manager” is created for water quality assessment and forecast in basin scale under different sets of management mechanisms impact. The DSS “Hydro-manager” includes information modeling system of water quality in basin scale and is used for the Upper Ob River basin on the territory of the Altai administrative region.
