Abstract

The aim of the research presented in this paper is to identify novel functions and design principles for performance measurement which assist the user in better managing knowledge reuse and invention in New Product Development (NPD) environments. Some learning coming from the implementation of the proposed theory in industrial settings will be shared with the reader as well. The research has been done in the context of the European Commission co-sponsored NIMCube (New-use and Innovation Management and Measurement Methodology for R&D) project.
