Abstract

A result-oriented technology management plays rapidly an important role for the early assurance of innovations. In particular, this applies to the field of automotive electronics from tomorrow. This paper concentrates on how a correct selection of technology alternatives for strong networked electronic systems in vehicles can be ensured. Already to an early time of the product development a model-based description and assessment of technologies are to be planned, in order to avoid possible system failures in the sense of prospective innovation assurance. The approach introduced is a very promising way to meet future challenges concerning an application of new electronic technologies.
