Computer aided design environment with case based reasoning module
Abstract
The paper presents a concept and first prototype modules of knowledge based software supporting the method of case based reasoning in routine machine design. The presented concept of case based reasoning application takes advantage of the following ideas: modeling with features, automatic and non-automatic generation of design rationale information, knowledge support of design rationale information generation.
