Abstract

In this paper, mechanical properties and creep behavior in early age of 100 https://www.w3.org/1998/Math/MathML" display="inline"> N / m m 2 class high-strength concrete were investigated. A series of experimental investigations was carried out to produce consistent data for analyses, from which consistent formulation for the relations of compressive and direct tensile strength with the compressive and tensile elastic moduli was produced. A rheological analysis method based on the Burger’s model for nonlinear function was proposed, whose rheological coefficients were identified by the inverse analysis. On the basis of those analyses, it was concluded that specific creep strains, both compressive and tensile types, could be evaluated up to the limit of https://www.w3.org/1998/Math/MathML" display="inline"> 40 % of stress-strength ratio. Moreover, it was demonstrated that the proposed method can suitably describe the creep behavior by means of the coefficient of viscosity and elastic moduli for early age concrete, which are determined with assistance of the devised formulation.
