Process approach to production management in a construction company

One of the modern managing conceptions which allows to improve the results measured by means of costs, quality and quickness of service is process management. The article contains the discussion of process approach to managing a company and an example of using this method in research and reengineering of a concrete mixture plant. In order to carry out the research, the interaction matrix of producing concrete mixture was worked out. The results obtained from simulating the work of the matrix by means of the computer program OPTIMA! were used to work out suggestions for improving production managing process through the reductions of actions, which do not add value from the customer’s point of view.
